| BCS: 3.0 S: Hock sitting between AC unit and house. Hissed, clacked, and crouched down when approached. Clacked and bit while in hand. O: Performed field exam to see if needed to come in for care. ------------- PHYSICAL EXAM FINDINGS ---------------- Mentation: BAR Dehydration (%): <5 Neurologic: NSF Head/mouth/beak: NSF Ears: NSF Eyes: NSF, did not perform fundic but acted visual from both Wings: NSF Legs: NSF Feet: NSF Body: Cast in abdomen Feather condition: In blood. Primaries ~60% grown Ectoparasites: None seen Initial treatment: Used ladder to place in crook of tree near nest tree. Couldn't reach any branches in nest tree. A: Healthy brancher. Old enough to climb and be out of nest but not old enough to fly much. Recently fed with large cast in abdomen. Sibling present in nest tree. Does not need to come in for care. P: Reunited with parents.
